Aims and Objectives

The Gandhian College of Education is dedicated to providing integral and personalized training for young men and women through the principles of Integral Pedagogy, which include Context, Experience, Reflection, Action, and Evaluation. The college aims to nurture intellectually competent, morally upright, socially committed, and spiritually inspired teachers who are motivated to excel in their profession.
Our vision is to shape students into well-rounded mentors who guide young learners in their journey toward becoming fully realized individuals. To achieve this, the college offers comprehensive training that encompasses intellectual, cultural, social, emotional, physical, aesthetic, moral, and spiritual dimensions.
Gandhian College of Education is committed to instilling values such as respect for India’s rich cultural heritage, egalitarianism, democracy, secularism, gender equality, environmental conservation, social inclusivity, ethical use of technology and media, transparency, and integrity in personal and public life. We also emphasize national unity, small family norms, and respect for religious and moral principles.
Furthermore, the college actively conducts in-service programs for teachers and school administrators to keep them updated on contemporary educational trends, research, and practices. These programs focus on enhancing skills through modern technology and innovative teaching methods. Additionally, the college is engaged in research and documentation to contribute to the advancement of education in relevant areas.
